It's Me! Melah Styles – the Fashionist.
You won't believe how sprung I am because of Spring, so much so that I decided to write my very first blog in its honor.
Just like Beverly Hills has Rodeo Drive, Chicago has Michigan Avenue and there is no place like it! That's why I’ve decided to name this blog the “Magnificent Mile Fresh.” Whenever I leisurely stroll on the magnificent mile, I tend to get overly excited about all things fashion! I'm all about the mannequins in the windows hunny’. No matter the budget there’s a store for everyone. From Forever 21 and Top Shop to Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Ave.
Now let's get into this fresh spring attire, shall we?
I’m just blooming where I'm planted in this 1970’s sleeveless floral blouse that I took the liberty of tying up in the front. This blouse was the accessory I needed to be “Mag Mile Fresh.” This particular blouse can also be worn with a pair of dark denim jeans or shorts! Since it was such a beautiful and sunny day, I decided to sweeten things up with this honey gold skirt! It's super unique and FULL of detail! This high-low skirt ties in the front and was a PEFECT way to disguise my slight pudge.
NOTE: Dresses and Skirts that tie up around the waist, are a great way to extenuate the mid section! ;)
What’s a Spring look without a simple yet rich in color shoe and purse? Are you feelin’ this golden suede satchel and watermelon/coral ankle strapped blocked sandal?! Girl, you couldn’t tell me NOTHIN’!!
Remember: You don’t have to focus on matching everything to be fashionable in spring. It’s okay to play with color this season! Just make sure that you wear items that enhance your body type and be CONFIDENT.
Most importantly I want you to be Magnificently Fresh!!!
